Niels is a Danish IT leader who started with ten years of production IT at Grundfos A/S in Denmark — traveling the world to set up factory and production IT in new plants — before moving to China. Then 20+ years building and running enterprise IT across Asia, as regional IT manager and IT director for European manufacturers, responsible for organizations up to 30,000 employees and for almost 7,000 IT users at peak. He has migrated 1,000+ users across 30+ countries, run 24/7 production IT in six countries, and built the Odoo manufacturing platform behind an AI quoting system — 258,000+ products, 186,000+ auto-generated BOMs with automatic workcenter and machine assignment, and 470+ employees working on it every day.
